Oasis Group with increasing bookings for Easter 2023
The Portuguese tourist group Oásis Atlântico, one of the largest in Cape Verde, is experiencing strong demand for Easter and summer, with the upcoming opening of the sixth hotel, the White Hotel, in Boa Vista.
The new hotel, scheduled for the second half of April, will offer 66 rooms and will be a significant contribution to both business and leisure tourism on the island. The Oásis Cabo Verde group, which has a total of 1,028 rooms and 902 employees, is still recovering from the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and is preparing for another summer with excellent occupancy rates.
The Oásis Atlântico group, founded in Cape Verde in the 1990s, currently manages eight hotels, five in Cape Verde, two in northeastern Brazil, and one in Morocco, in addition to several real estate and tourism projects in Cape Verde and Brazil. In 2022, the five hotels in Cape Verde received a record 835,945 tourists and over four million overnight stays, according to data released by the National Institute of Statistics.
The island of Sal, the most touristy in Cape Verde, continued to be the most requested, followed by Boa Vista and Santiago. The United Kingdom was the main tourist market for Cape Verde in 2022, followed by Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, and France. Cape Verdeans themselves accounted for 5.6% of the total, with 46,647 people choosing to stay in their hotels.
At a time when Cape Verde is recovering from a deep economic and financial crisis caused by the pandemic, investing in the purchase of rooms at the White Hotel condo-hotel offers a guaranteed return of 5%, thanks to the management provided by the Oásis group. Don’t miss the opportunity to invest in a rapidly growing island with strong tourist potential. For information, write here: MAIL.
